Paint, Portrait, Camera

Another great open house at North Coast Seed Building this year. This time I made some portraits for the willing, and summarily turned seventeen of the photos into paintings. Thanks for coming down!

Twist It: Kate Troedsson

Revisiting a wonderful shoot with the ever-talented Kate Troedsson, who in this shot is sporting portland’s favorite look: Nerdy Chic. She does this look justice.

Tigress

One more shot of the ever-amazing Cara Mia. We haven’t shot anything recently, so I thought I’d re-visit one of our very first photoshoots. What a charmer!

Model: Bryan Bernart

The talented and hilarious Bryan Bernart had a fantastic shoot in the studio recently. Not just the sauve model seen here, Bryan did a great job working the mullet wig as well, but the range of characters he was able to produce in such short time …truly impressive.

Models: Carolyn and Caity

Despite the rain, I managed to pull this fabulous shoot together with Seattle models Carolyn and Caity. Great duo, these two. They worked well off of each other without too much presumption or coaching on my behalf. The amazing makeup was styled by MUAs Brooke Morse and Sarah Prevo; hair by Justi Stewart (from Celena Rubin’s http://www.artofmakeup.com)

Model: Bekha Corson

Great headshot session with Bekha Corson. This was the first time we had worked together, and I think she did a great job. Props to Sheila Valentic for the killer styling.

Model: Tia Fisher

Wonderful shoot with Tia Fisher. Incredibly conceptualized makeup by MUA: Mila Grass. This was my first time working with both of these talented women. Amazing.

Model: Mishalla Cannon

Autumn is coming, and she can feel the change happening. Inside, outside- doesn’t matter. The shift is nearly solid, tenable. Like a good sunset.
